The limit
Checkout accepts United Kingdom addresses. It does not offer a rest-of-world method. Offering one without a carrier and without a classification check would be a claim, not a feature.
Two zones
Mainland, and highlands and islands. The highlands rule looks at the start of the postcode: AB, IV, KW, HS, ZE, PH. It does not understand every exception inside those areas, and it does not split PA or DD. Treat it as a demonstration rule.
Reagents
General reagents on the public catalogue are ordinary laboratory preparations. They are flagged for classification review before a live launch. The internal hold slot is how a record stays off the public site until that review exists.
