How Sable prices are checked
A lowest-tracked mark is a comparison of listed vial prices against UK listings stored in this index. It is not a claim that every UK seller has been checked.
What is compared
The comparison is the listed price of one lyophilised research vial, in GBP, for one compound and one stated amount. Sable’s figure is the current catalogue price. Another seller is included only when a person has opened the listing, recorded the price, and stored the page address and the date.
Exact size
An exact match needs the same compound, the same nominal amount, a single vial rather than a bundle, and a price a UK customer would be shown. If a meaningful difference remains, the listing is stored as not identical and is not used for a lowest-tracked mark.
Price per milligram
Price per milligram is the catalogue price divided by the stated milligrams on that vial. It is a second figure. It does not make two different vial sizes the same product, and it is not used to award a lowest-tracked mark.
Delivery
The mark uses the listed vial price. Delivery is shown beside a listing when the page stated it, and it is not added into the comparison. Sable’s shipping figures in the shop are a demonstration tariff, so they are not treated as a checked carrier price.
Promotions and stock
A promotional price is stored and labelled, and it is not used for a current mark. A listing is not used when the page did not show it in stock. A listing older than 90 days stays on the record and drops out of the current mark.
What lowest tracked means
Lowest tracked UK price means Sable’s listed vial price is less than or equal to every comparable listing stored for that exact size inside the last 90 days. Among the lowest tracked means Sable is above that lowest listing, but by no more than 5%. If nothing comparable is stored, no mark is shown.
What this index does not cover
The index does not cover every UK supplier. A supplied figure used to set a catalogue price is not republished here as a competitor listing. No price is changed because a listing was stored. A lower catalogue price needs a separate operator decision.
Catalogue price rule
Each Sable size is priced on its own, at £1 under the matching market figure supplied for that amount. That sentence describes how the catalogue price was set. It is not, by itself, a checked listing in this index.
