Glossary
High-performance liquid chromatography
High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is a technique that separates the components of a liquid sample by pumping it at high pressure through a column packed with fine particles. Components interact differently with the stationary phase and elute at different times. HPLC with UV detection is the standard method for assessing synthetic peptide purity.
