Glossary
Peptide purity
Peptide purity is the proportion of the target peptide relative to all peptide-related species detected, usually measured by reversed-phase HPLC with UV detection at around 214 to 220 nm. It is reported as a percentage of total peak area. Purity does not account for water or counter-ions, so it is distinct from net peptide content.
