Igf 1 lr3 mechanism of action?
In the research literature, IGF-1 LR3 is described as an 83-residue analogue of IGF-I with an Arg substitution at position 3 and a 13-residue N-terminal extension, reducing binding to IGF binding proteins; widely used as a cell-culture media supplement. It is classed as a recombinant protein analogue (83 residues). This describes its use as a laboratory research tool only, not any effect in people. Sable Peptides supplies it for laboratory research use only; it is not for human consumption.
