Is Oxytocin legal to buy in the UK for laboratory research?

Sable supplies Oxytocin as a research reagent only. MHRA guidance says products are classed as medicines by their presentation and function, and the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016 only covers supply for human consumption for a psychoactive effect. Medicines containing Oxytocin as the active substance are licensed in the UK as prescription-only medicines; Sable's vial is a research reagent, not one of those medicines.
