Is MGF legal to buy in the UK for laboratory research?

Sable supplies MGF as a research reagent only. MHRA guidance says products are classed as medicines by their presentation and function, and the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016 only covers supply for human consumption for a psychoactive effect.
