Glossary
Resolution
Chromatographic resolution is a measure of how well two adjacent peaks are separated, calculated from the difference in their retention times relative to their peak widths. A resolution of 1.5 or more indicates baseline separation. Good resolution is essential to quantify closely eluting peptide impurities such as deletion sequences.
