Glossary
In vitro
In vitro, Latin for 'in glass', describes experiments performed outside a living organism, such as in test tubes, plates or cell cultures. Many peptide studies are conducted in vitro to examine receptor binding, enzyme inhibition or cellular signalling under controlled conditions, allowing precise manipulation of concentration and environment.
