Crimp cap
A crimp cap is an aluminium seal crimped over a vial's rubber stopper to hold it securely and provide an airtight closure. Crimp-sealed vials protect lyophilised peptides from moisture and air ingress during storage and shipping. A flip-off plastic top often covers the stopper until first use.
