Copper peptide complex
A copper peptide complex is a coordination compound in which a peptide binds a copper(II) ion through nitrogen and oxygen donor atoms. The best-known example is GHK-Cu, the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine complexed with copper. Such complexes are typically blue, and their stability depends on pH and the presence of competing ligands.
