Glossary
Chromatogram
A chromatogram is the graphical output of a chromatographic separation, plotting detector response against time. Each peak represents one or more components. In peptide HPLC, the main peak corresponds to the target peptide and smaller peaks to impurities; purity is calculated from relative peak areas.
