Avogadro constant
The Avogadro constant (NA) is exactly 6.02214076 × 10²³ per mole and defines the number of particles in one mole of substance. It links the macroscopic scale of grams and litres to the molecular scale. In peptide work it underlies conversions between moles, molecules and molar concentrations.
