Arrhenius equation
The Arrhenius equation describes how the rate constant of a chemical reaction depends on absolute temperature and activation energy. It explains why peptide degradation slows substantially at low temperatures and underlies accelerated stability studies, in which data at elevated temperatures are used to estimate behaviour under recommended storage.
