# Rink amide resin

Rink amide resin is a solid support used in Fmoc peptide synthesis to generate C-terminally amidated peptides. Its acid-labile linker releases the peptide as a carboxamide on exposure to trifluoroacetic acid. It is widely used because many bioactive peptides naturally carry a C-terminal amide.
