# Reproducibility

Reproducibility is the ability to obtain consistent results when an experiment or measurement is repeated, either by the same team or independently. Variability in reagent quality, peptide content, storage and handling are common sources of irreproducibility, which careful documentation of lot numbers and methods helps address.
