# Micromolar

Micromolar (µM) is a unit of concentration equal to one millionth of a mole per litre (10⁻⁶ mol/L). Many in vitro peptide experiments use working concentrations in the nanomolar to micromolar range. Converting a micromolar target into a mass requires the peptide's molecular weight and, ideally, its net peptide content.
