# Impurity profile

An impurity profile is a description of the identified and unidentified impurities present in a material, including their levels. For synthetic peptides it lists species such as deletion sequences, truncations, oxidised forms and diastereomers, characterised by HPLC and LC-MS, and supports batch-to-batch comparison.
