# Calibration curve

A calibration curve relates instrument response to known concentrations of a standard, allowing the concentration of unknown samples to be determined by interpolation. In peptide quantification, curves may be built from a reference standard using HPLC peak area or absorbance. Linearity across the working range is checked statistically.
